2. Skin & Wellness Information
   • Skin type, concerns, and sensitivities
   • Existing skincare products and preferences
   • AI questionnaire responses
   • Lifestyle factors (sleep, diet, stress — if the user inputs them)
3. Face Scan Data

   Only if the user chooses to use the AI Face Scan: we collect either processed facial analysis data (no image stored) or, if the user opts in, stored face images for future comparisons or tracking. Users may decline image storage.

4. Payment Information

   If subscriptions or purchases are introduced: encrypted payment details via Hubwallet or a similar provider. We do not store full card numbers.

5. Automatically Collected Data
   • IP address, device type, browser type
   • Analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.)
   • Pages visited, time on site, and interaction data
   • Cookies (functional, performance, marketing)

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Brand Neutrality & Conflicts of Interest

SkinSavvi does not sell its own skincare line. We recommend products from clinical, luxury, and drugstore brands without sponsorship bias. No brand can pay to influence recommendations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We rely on consent (for face scans and sensitive data), legitimate interest (improving services and analytics), and contract (providing the service you request).

5. How We Store & Protect Your Data

We use secure infrastructure, encryption in transit and at rest, limited internal access, and vetted third-party processors.

Face scan images are stored only with explicit opt-in, deletable at any time, never used to train models, and never shared with advertisers.

6. Third-Party Services

We work with OpenAI, AWS/Vercel, third-party computer vision providers, analytics tools, and payment processors (Hubwallet). Each operates under its own privacy policy.

7. Data Retention

We keep data as long as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, and maintain accurate history. Users may request deletion at any time. Face scan images follow the user’s storage preference.

8. Children’s Privacy

SkinSavvi is not intended for users under 16. If we learn a minor has used our platform, we will delete the data immediately.

9. Your Rights

You may have the right to access, correct, delete, opt out, withdraw consent, or request a copy of your data. Email hello@skinsavvi.com to exercise your rights.

10. International Transfers

Our servers may operate in the US, UAE, EU, or other jurisdictions. We use secure mechanisms (such as SCCs and encryption) to protect transferred data.

11. Health-Adjacent Data Disclaimer

SkinSavvi is not a medical device and is not governed by HIPAA, but we apply HIPAA-inspired safeguards for sensitive information.
